Sociologically speaking ours is a typical case of ideation, action and realization that have sequentially followed by the grace of Waheguru. It was in 2004, the Sikh devout families in the town expressed an earnest desire to pray and sing Gurbani. The idea got caught up and within no time the “Kirtan Darbar” came to existence by word of mouth and where in Non-Sikhs with respect to Sikh traditions too joined enthusiastically. Kirtan Darbar became the medium to thank Lord for the mercy and grace. Waheguru was so gracious that we were bestowed with sacred opportunity to dedicate the Gurudwara Sahib to Jacksonville, Florida on September 1st 2013, the same date when Sri Guru Granth Sahib was installed in the Holy Golden Temple 409 years ago.

Self-illuminated, Revealed only by the Guru’s grace."
